Fortunato Restaurant – Chicago, IL

Introduction

We provided MEP designs for this 16,000 Sq. Ft. restaurant, centering around a high temperature wood burning pizza oven that will prepare Italian-style pizzas in less than 3 minutes. The heart of the pizza oven connects to a double wall stainless steel exhaust stack with makeup air provisions.

The HVAC systems are equipped with air-side economizers, power exhaust, and high efficiency features designed to support this entirelycustom-designed performance kitchen. The electrical design for the restaurant also incorporated a host array of visually appealing lighting features, including large bubble walls, unique LED lighting arrays, and an off track betting area. To top it off, the restaurant will also boast huge outdoor LED signage, measuring 71’wide by 11’ high.
