Introduction

1. The Mechanical Scope:

The mechanical scope of the Kickstands Restaurant project included the installation of two new RTU systems for heating and cooling. The project also involved the installation of new ductwork distribution to ensure proper airflow throughout the building. Additionally,the hood exhaust fan and make-up air design was included in the scope to deal with the kitchen fumes and smoke. The project also included the installation of new toilet exhaust and distribution systems, as well as the new general exhaust and distribution systems to remove stale air from the building. A new gas distribution system was also installed to provide the necessary fuel for the kitchen appliances. The project utilized local controls to allow for easy management of the building’s systems.

2. The Electrical Scope:

The electrical scope of the Kickstands Restaurant project included the design and installation of a complete power distribution system. The project also included the installation of electrical circuiting for lighting, general receptacle, specialty equipment, mechanical equipment, plumbing equipment, kitchen equipment, etc. The project also included the installation of lighting and control system, general lighting fixtures, exterior lighting fixtures, egress lighting, lighting control, photometric calculations, fire alarm system, fire alarm control panel, fire alarm annunciator panel, initiation devices, low voltage system, and rough-in data outlet layout.

3. The Plumbing Scope:

The plumbing scope of the Kickstands Restaurant project managed the design and installation of a sanitary drainage and vent system. This system is responsible for removing waste water and other waste materials from the building. The project also included the installation of a new domestic hot water system and recirculation system to provide hot water for the kitchen and the customers. The project also included the design and installation of a domestic water system and plumbing fixture specification to provide the necessary water supply for the building.
